February 1, 2019
- Wozniak Yuri (10th Mountain Brigade) an officer. He was killed in the area of operations. The exact place and circumstances aren’t specified.
Military
Drone footage of Ukrainian forces shelling a separatists outpost
Artillery unit of Ukrainian 54th Brigade destroyed enemy positions near Bahmutka Highway. The attack was payback for separatists attack on Ukrainian truck, which killed one and wounded four more.
Azov Regiment deployed to Donbas
Serviceman of 79th AirAssault Brigade was captured by separatists
On January 23, a scout of 79th AirAssault Brigade disappeared at one of the observation points near Pavlopil. A search was organized but the soldier couldn’t be found. Separatists announced that Ukrainian soldier was captured but didn’t provide any evidence until the last week. A video of interrogation appeared on social media and the spokesman of 79th Brigade confirmed that it’s the missing soldier.
