Casualties
September 17, 2019
- Roy Vladyslav (Aydar Battalion, 53rd Mechanized Brigade) a soldier. Separatist forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Pivdenne (Donetsk Region) by RPG and small arms. He died during the defence.

Military
New insignias for AirAssault Brigades
Seven units of Air Assault Forces of Armed Forces of Ukraine received brand new insignias. The insignias respect historic and national military symbolism.
Azov Regiment leaves the frontline
The command of Joint Forces Operation Zone announced the change of Ukrainian forces at Svitlodarsk Bulge and the surrounding area.
Aydar Battalion advances near Horlivka
According to TSN.ua news website, Aydar Battalion advanced 1,5km forward and de-facto reached the outskirts of occupied Horlivka. They fortified a forest ahead of their previous positions, which was used by separatist forces as cover for sabotage operations. The exact location is unknown.
Russian tanks amassing at Ukrainian border
A video released on social media shows a column of military equipment in the Rostov Region near Ukrainian border. The video was recorded on September 19, 2019.
