Casualties

August 12, 2019

  • Dashkovetsʹ Dmytro (36th Marine Corps Brigade) a sergeant. He died at Mechnikov hospital in Dnipro due to injuries received at the front.

August 14, 2019

  • Kolbun Oleksandr (unit unknown) a soldier. According to a report of the local council, he died during combat duty in Luhansk Region. Nothing else is specified.
  • Yevstehnyeyev Vasylʹ (72nd Mechanized Brigade) a soldier. He was killed by enemy fire at Ukrainian outpost near Zolote.

August 15, 2019

  • Havryk Kostyantyn (74th Reconnaissance Battalion) a sergeant. According to information on social media, two soldiers of 74th Reconnaissance Battalion were killed and one more wounded at the outpost near Pisky.

Military

Ukrainian helicopter Mi-2 crashed near Lviv

Mi-2 of 16th Air Brigade crashed near Lviv during a routine flight. No casualties.

Russian Army in Voronezh region put on alert

Russia alerted military units in Voronezh region (bordering with Ukrainian Kharkiv region) to wartime status on August 12, 2019. Alongside planned training, a partial mobilization was ordered as well. The special status ended on August 16, 2019.
