Casualties

March 18, 2019

  • Kherechanin Evgeniy (54th Mechanized Brigade) a machine gunner. He was killed by a sniper at an observation post near Zolote, Luhansk Region.

March 20, 2019

  • Valah Serhiy (93rd Mechanized Brigade) a senior soldier. Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle hit a mine during a defense of outpost near Avdiivka. One soldier died, two more wounded.

March 21, 2019

  • Sirin Maxim  (93rd Mechanized Brigade) a soldier. He died during a defense of outpost near Avdiivka.

March 22, 2019

  • Markevich Vladimir (24th Mechanized Brigade) a senior medical officer. He was killed at an observation post near Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Region.
  • Burlaka Arthur (10th Mountain Brigade) a soldier. He died at the front, exact place and circumstances are not specified.

Military

Ukrainian Armed forces lost BRM-1K

During an attack of pro-russian forces on Ukrainian outpost near Avdiivka, Ukrainian Forces lost BRM-1K, a combat reconnaissance vehicle based on BMP-1. The vehicle hit a friendly mine and its wreck was successfully retrieved.

French ship in Odesa

Minehunter ship of French Navy, Capricorne, landed in Odesa on Saturday 23rd. The ship will remain in Ukrainian waters for several days.
