New Offensive Guard Brigade has been formed

Ukrainian Border Guards form a second offensive brigade, and promise a revenge.

Luhansk Border Guards detachment has been reformed into an Offensive Guard brigade with a symbolic name, Pomsta (Revenge in English). The combat capabilities of the brigade have been reinforced by armored vehicles, tanks and artillery. Soldiers of the brigade underwent numerous of trainings abroad and are prepared for all kind of situations.

Pomsta Brigade received a motto “Reborn to win” and promises a revenge to all Russian invaders for killed Ukrainian border guards during the first hours of the full-scale invasion in February 2022. Soldiers of the unit have participated in hostilities since 2014, and fought alongside the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmut, Kreminna, Lysychansk and Popasna.

According to the official footage of the brigade, Pomsta Brigade received T-64BV mod.2017 tanks, Kozak-7 and Roshel Senator MRAPs.
