Marine Drone Unit Expanded to Regiment
The 426th Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy has been expanded to regimental strength. The change was revealed through the unit’s official Facebook page and publicly confirmed on December 25, 2025.
About the unit
The 426th Unmanned Systems Regiment was formed in November 2024 on the basis of the Unmanned Systems Company of the 140th Reconnaissance Battalion. The unit is based in Mykolaiv and is currently the only separate drone unit within the Ukrainian Marine Corps.
