About the unit

In 1992, the 138th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade pledged allegiance to the Ukrainian people and became part of the Ground Forces of Ukraine. In 1996, the unit was transferred to the Air Force, and during the 2000s, it was downsized to a regiment and renamed the 11th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment. In 2024, it was restored to brigade status. The unit is currently stationed in Khmelnytskyi Oblast and operates under Air Command West.
