Question

Hello!

1) The Robotyne Offensive tries to reach Tokmak/Melitopol, can somebody tell me, what the goal of the Urozhaine one is? Is it like getting to Mariupol or more like dividing the Donezk and Saporischja part, so that no new forces can join from the west beside the Krim bridge?

2) When the offensives started there were also some attacks in Vasylivka direction, but I don‘t see any news

Question

regarding this path. Is there still an offensive approach or more defensive fighting?

3) Is there a reason why there are no attacks in the direction of Polohy? It seems like be such a major place with the 4 train tracks and not so far away from the still holding UKR ground.

Andrew
  1. The main rail line connecting the Rostov-on-Don region (major logistics base) to Crimea is closer to the front here than almost any other place.
  2. Ukraine has been attacking on multiple fronts to make it hard to guess where its main effort will come. Can also evolve into something more
  3. Heavily fortified. Success east and west could isolate a large chunk of Moscow’s forces and tear a huge gap.

3) Because its one of the main goals of this offensiv. you can see robotyne and urozhaine offensiv like bypass strong defense of polohy. This battle will only start when logistic to the city will be low . Like for tokmak or melitopol. Dont expect stupid frontal assault like russian for bakmut.

dolgan

1) robotyne offensiv main goal is to fix and used russian troops to create opportunity on main goals of this strategic operation.

Urozhaine is one of the major strategic objectiv: cut russian logistic. cut the highway/train and put marioupol as close as possible.

2) still small offensiv actions in this direction. probably be strongly activ later when ukrain will exploit robotyne fall.

AlexDi

are you from the Russian General Staff?
Interrupt logistical lines from the Crimea (human and material resources)
force the Russian command to abandon Kherson and Odessa (there are rumors that such dreams still exist)
find a weak spot in the defense line and build on success without falling into traps
