Hawks Regiment joins Unmanned Systems Forces

The Unmanned Systems Forces continues to expand and integrate highly experienced units into its ranks, with the most recent addition being the 411th Regiment of Unmanned Systems “Hawks” joining the force.

Who are the Hawks?

The Hawks unit was formed in 2022, following the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, initially as a battalion. In December 2024, the battalion was expanded into a regiment.

Its servicemen actively participated in combat operations in Kursk, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and other frontline directions. As part of the recent reforms in the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the regiment was assigned to the command of the 17th Army Corps.

“The 411th Separate Drone Systems Regiment “Hawks” actively uses the latest technologies, including artificial intelligence, which significantly enhances operational effectiveness. The “Hawks” specialists are developers of the “Tower” platform, which collects, decrypts, and analyzes information. Based on the regiment, the “Hawks Drone Camp” was created – a school for training FPV pilots and aerial reconnaissance specialists.”
