Dnipro-1 joins Lyut Assault Brigade

The famous police regiment is now part of the Offensive Guard brigade.

Ukrainian police continues to consolidate its special task force police units and reform them under the command of Lyut Assault Brigade. The command of the brigade recently revealed on the official social media that Dnipro-1 Regiment, the well known volunteer unit which was formed back in 2014 to counter Russian invasion to Donbas, joined Lyut Assault Brigade in 2023.

Lyut Assault Brigade now consist of Tsunami, Safari, Luhansk and Dnipro-1 regiments, and Myrotvorets, Enei, Skif, Zakhid and Tavr battalions, making it one of the largest brigades among the Ukrainian defenders.
