The eleventh Offensive Guard brigade joins the fight.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has established its third combat brigade, nicknamed “Hart.” This unit was created as part of the Offensive Guard project and now stands alongside the Stalevy Kordon and Pomsta Brigades, both of which were formed in 2023.

The formation was announced by Minister of Interior Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, on April 30, marking Ukraine’s Border Guard Day. This brigade represents a new unit, formed from experienced Ukrainian border guards, likely from detachments in Donetsk Oblast and the southern regions.

The Border Guards, during the ongoing martial law since February 24, 2022, are under the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
