443rd Unmanned Maritime Systems Battalion Leaves 9th Brigade

The 443rd Unmanned Maritime Systems Battalion has been removed from the structure of Ukraine’s 9th Unmanned Systems Brigade, the brigade’s communications department confirmed to MilitaryLand.

“Since June 28, 2026, the 443rd Separate Unmanned Maritime Systems Battalion has been separated from the 9th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade. The unit is currently operating independently or under other structural formations in accordance with its new organization and assigned combat missions,” the statement said.

The 443rd Battalion is a specialized unit of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces focused on operating unmanned maritime platforms. It was formed in January 2026.
