124th Territorial Brigade joins Marines

Another brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces has joined the Marine Corps.

The Ukrainian Marines have a new brigade – the 124th Territorial Defense Brigade from Kherson has been assigned to the Ukrainian 30th Marine Corps. This change was revealed by Ukrainian volunteers closely associated with the brigade on social media.

According to available information, the unit is still designated as the 124th Territorial Defense Brigade, but discussions are underway to transform it into a fully-fledged marine brigade.

This is the second Territorial Defense Brigade to join the Marine Corps. On April 6, 2024, we reported on the 126th Territorial Defense Brigade joining the Marines.

Hello, I just wanted to say that this change might be not be completely sure. Joe Macdonald just made an update saying that they officially know nothing about it and said that the skull patch in the picture is not really anything official. I don’t know what is true or not, I just wanted to share what I just found out.
