He graduated from the Military Department of Mykolaiv University in 2010 and later graduated from the Chernyakhovsky National Defense University of Ukraine in Kyiv in 2022. He participated in the War in Donbas during the Anti-Terrorist Operation and the Joint Forces Operation in eastern Ukraine. Following the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, he began to perform combat missions against Russian Forces in the 25th Airborne Brigade.

He would eventually rise through the ranks of the unit. In 2023, he served as the commander of the 25th Airborne Brigade, where he would command it until July 2025, when he was appointed as the commander of the 7th Rapid Response Corps.

On August 23, 2024, for personal courage and heroism shown in defending Ukraine, he was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine. On November 8, 2025, he was awarded the rank of Brigadier General. Since becoming the commander of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, he has continuously emphasized the necessity of scaling the usage of technologies, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence into individual systems. He has also famously stated that Ukraine is currently the best military in the world.
