Known by the callsign “Datsyk”, he joined the Ukrainian Naval Forces as part of the Ukrainian Marine Corps at the age of 18. He participated in the War in Donbas, being frequently on deployment as indicated by his social media page. After completing his contract after three years, he was demobilized and worked in construction in Poland. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, he began manufacturing furniture.
Following the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he immediately joined the ranks of the Azov Special Operations Regiment “Kyiv”, and took part in the defense of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast. Later, he also took part in the fighting in southern Ukraine, in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
When the 3rd Assault Brigade was formed, he became a platoon commander as part of the 2nd Company of the 2nd Assault Battalion, leading the Deseptikons Platoon. Eventually, he would rise to the rank of commander of the battalion’s 2nd Company. In December 2025 to January 2026, he was appointed as the commander of the 2nd Assault Battalion of the brigade.
