Maksym Danylchuk

He was born in Barvynivka, Zhytomyr region, and graduated from the National Academy of Ground Forces. He served as a company commander in the 30th Mechanized Brigade. He later became Chief of Staff and commander of the 2nd Battalion of the same brigade, taking part in combat missions in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. In February 2023, under his leadership, Wagner Group assaults on Donbas were successfully repelled. On February 24, 2024, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded him the title Hero of Ukraine. In September 2025, at the age of 26, Danylchuk was appointed commander of the 47th Mechanized Brigade.
