Known by the call sign “Horus”, he joined the Azov Regiment in 2017, quickly rising through several roles. In early 2022, as a Lieutenant, he distinguished himself by defending the besieged city of Mariupol, personally destroying multiple enemy vehicles, ambushing a Russian tank convoy near Hnutove, and capturing enemy hardware and personnel. After the fall of Azovstal, he endured four months in captivity before being exchanged and returning home. Since November 16, 2024, he has been commanding the 6th Special Purpose Battalion of the Azov Brigade, replacing Arsen Dmytryk, who became the Chief of Staff of the 1st Azov Corps.
