Before his military service, he lived peacefully in the city of Novomoskovsk. In 2013, he graduated from the Hetman Petro Sahaidachny Academy of Land Forces, where he specialized in the management of airmobile units. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, known as the War in Donbas, where he served with the 25th Airborne Brigade. For six months, he actively participated in the liberation of settlements in Donetsk Oblast. In August and September 2014, he performed tasks as part of consolidated units during raids and combat operations in the settlements of Bakhmut, Debaltseve, Buhlehirsk, Shanika, and Zyzhnia Krynka. He became the second Ukrainian soldier to be awarded the Combat Merit Cross twice. He eventually became the Chief of Staff of the Battalion of the 25th Airborne Brigade. In late 2024, he became the commander of the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
