Major GeneralHe began his military service in 1993 as a reconnaissance platoon commander and subsequently held a series of staff and command positions within mechanized and operational-level formations, including Chief of Staff of the 30th Mechanized Brigade until 2013. In November 2017, he was appointed Deputy Commander of Operational Command “South,” and in October 2021 became it’s commander. Since 2024, he has served as Commander of the Kreminna Tactical Group until it’s disbandment. In 2026 he became the commander of the Tactical Group “Sloboda”.
