The commander in reserve
He served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 1985 until 2005. In 2014, following Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, he returned to active duty. Over the years, he has held several key positions, including deputy commander of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade (now the 92nd Assault Brigade), chief of staff of both the 93rd Mechanized Brigade and the 71st Jaeger Brigade. In February 2023, he was appointed commander of the 30th Mechanized Brigade.
