Nazariy Kishak

Known by the name Nazariy Kishak, he first joined the “Ivano-Frankivsk” Special Purpose Battalion in 2014, where he served as a volunteer until 2019. During this time, he took part in key battles near Mariupol, Avdiivka, and Marinka.
At the start of the full-scale invasion, he organized and led a volunteer unit of the Ivano-Frankivsk territorial community, which later became the foundation of a machine-gun platoon in the 72nd Mechanized Brigade. In 2024, he was appointed commander of the reconnaissance company of the 153rd Mechanized Brigade, where he proved himself as a capable frontline officer. That same year, in May, a combined detachment formed under his command was sent to the Kharkiv direction, where it carried out combat missions until December. On December 25, 2024, the detachment was reassigned to the 91st Anti-Tank Battalion, with Kishak taking command. In January 2025, he officially became commander of the battalion.
