У полон потрапили українські військовослужбовці

Вісім українських військовослужбовців потрапили в полон до проросійських сил у Донецькій області, коли водій вантажівки звернув не туди, куди треба.

The group of soldiers was captured on the morning of May 22, 2019 near Novotroits’ke, Donetsk Region. Ukrainian truck, for currently unknown reasons, didn’t make a turn to Volnovahka but went straight to the position of the enemy.

According to Ukrainian social media, the soldiers were either from 53rd Mechanized Brigade or 35th Marine Brigade.

A statement released by Ukrainian Military says they weren’t on a combat mission and it was a human mistake. They have also launched an investigation of the event and reached Pro-Russian forces to release the Ukrainian soldiers.
