Підсумки 138-го дня російського вторгнення в Україну станом на 22:00 - 11 липня 2022 року (за київським часом).
Підсумки дня:
Російські війська продовжують спроби прорвати українську оборону на північ від Слов'янська, але майже повністю припинили наземні операції на інших фронтах.
Президент України Зеленський наказав Збройним силам України відновити контроль над прибережними районами півдня України. Генеральний штаб готує план наступу і заявляє, що до участі в наступі можуть бути готові до мільйона українських солдатів.
Українські війська також продовжують наносити удари по російських складах боєприпасів за лінією фронту. Нещодавно доставлені реактивні системи залпового вогню "Гімалаї" дійсно створюють проблеми для російської армії.
Харківський фронт
включає територію Харкова та Чугуєва
Харківський та Чугуївський напрямок
- На Харківському фронті змін не відбулося.
Бахмутський фронт
включає околиці Бахмута
- На Бахмутському фронті без змін.
Слов'янський фронт
включає околиці Слов'янська та Краматорська
Слов'янський напрямок
- Фотографії з географічними тегами в соціальних мережах, датовані 7 липня, свідчать про російську присутність на південній околиці Курулки. Російські війська, ймовірно, обійшли Дібровне і захопили селище. Однак важливо зазначити, що селище розташоване в долині і не має жодних переваг для ворога.
- Українські війська продовжують утримувати вигідні позиції в районі Мазанівки, Краснопілля та Долини. На цій ділянці противник не може просунутися на південь у напрямку Слов'янська.
Поправка: Виходячи з наявної інформації та повідомлень голови Луганської області Гайдая, схоже, що селище Білогорівка є оспорюваним.

About the area of Vysokopolya in the Kherson region. This guy writes that Vysokopolye is under the control of the enemy, but Olgino is under the control of Ukrainians. I believe this dude because he has connections among the Ukrainian military command.

This should mean that Olgino is under the control of Ukrainians

There has been a lot of discussion about Oleksandrivka, unfortunately there are a variety of opinions as to which Oleksandrivka the rumours are adressed.
Reportedly, Velikhy Prokhody is at least partly again under UA control (or never left it over the last weeks).

Well, the Ukrainians have to do something in my opinion. Otherwise, the Russian side with much more heavy machinery and troops would win in the long term. So this planned attack is not a surprise. However, it will probably take some time until everything is ready, maybe a few weeks.
1. Can the Ukrainians field a competent 1 million man army? 2. Can the Russians match said army and 3. What the he’ll is Putin thinking calling to fight the Americans on the field of battle? If this war has taught us anything it’s that the Russians wouldn’t last long against the USA
‘1 million Army’ does not mean 1 milion guys and gals running with guns. By propotion it would be ~300-400k people in active (combat) duty. Army is a big thing. Ukr. has got now ~600k Army (~200k in combat). It was not said if it is “increase this to 1mln” or “add another 1mln”. Media loves numbers.
How does the Ukraine’s use of HIMARS help in terms of providing the Ukrianes with a force multiplier? Can they be used to take out enough of Russia’s. Ammo dumps, FOBs and or headquarters located in the Ukraine?
The handful of HIMARs, have confirmed expectations, being the weapon that more clearly offers a distinctive qualitative advantage versus the ex soviet derived MLRS, with higher precision, range and reloading speed, which enables to take out targets with lesser munition and less time of exposure.
I’m curious if more than just a hand full of HIMARS have been delivered to the Ukraine. With Poland putting in an order for 500 of these devices, 8 seems like a very small number of units. Maybe that’s all they needed to take out unprotected Russian stationary elements with a lot of time to prep
they are ‘force diminishers’ at the moment. There is no point in racing with Russia in guns or ammo, they have plenty even if sh*tworthy. But all the ammo in stock in Far East cannot help you when you have nothing where you actually need them. Rail nodes should be next targets.
