120-й день вторгнення - підсумок
Підсумки 120-го дня російського вторгнення в Україну станом на 22:00 - 23 червня 2022 року (за київським часом).
Підсумки дня:
Російська армія захопила кілька населених пунктів в околицях Лисичанська в результаті відходу українських військ з цього району. Противник також має успіхи на південь від Бахмута, в районі Вугледарської ТЕС.
З огляду на розвиток ситуації на лінії фронту Сіверський Донець, перспективи українських сил у цьому районі не виглядають багатообіцяючими, і вони можуть бути змушені відступити з Сєвєродонецька та Лисичанська, щоб уникнути оточення. Важливо визнати той факт, що це не питання “якщо це станеться”, а “коли це станеться”.”
Українські війська розпочали наступальну операцію під Вугледаром та звільнили селище Севченко.
Білоруська армія розпочала військові навчання в Гомельській області поблизу кордону з Україною. Навчання триватимуть до 1 липня.
Харківський фронт
включає територію Харкова та Чугуєва
Харківський та Чугуївський напрямок
- На місцях не відбулося жодних змін у цьому напрямку.
Сіверський Донець
включає територію Слов'янська, Краматорська та Бахмута
Слов'янський напрямок
- Російські війська атакували українські позиції під Долиною та Богородичним. Атаки були відбиті.

- У зв'язку зі значними руйнуваннями підконтрольної Україні частини міста (промислової зони), голова Луганської військової адміністрації припускає, що українські війська можуть відійти ближче до річки. Бої тривають.
- Російські війська безуспішно атакували Сиротине, Воронове та Борівське.
Лисичанський напрямок
- Російський проривний елемент продовжив просування на захід і захопив Лоскутівку та Рай-Олександрівку. Прорив був зупинений в районі Вовчоярівки.
- Російські війська наступали з боку Мирної Долини та Устинівки в напрямку Лисичанська. Атаки на Білу Гору та південні околиці Лисичанська були відбиті.
- Відведення українських військ з району населених пунктів Гірське та Золоте підтвердив Віктор Адрусів, радник міністра внутрішніх справ України.
- Російські війська безуспішно намагалися захопити панівні висоти в районі Берестового.
- Додаткова російська БТГ прибула до Новотошківського для підтримки російського наступу в цьому районі.
Південно-Східний фронт
включає Донецьку та Запорізьку області
Донецька область
- Українські війська просунулися на південь від Вугледара і звільнили селище Шевченко після кількох годин запеклих боїв.
- Українські військові виявили російські розвідувально-диверсійні групи в районі Новосілки, Вермівки та неподалік Нескучного. Після невеликого бойового зіткнення сили противника відступили.
- У Мар'їнці захисники відбили атаку росіян.
Запорізька область
- На місцях не відбулося жодних змін у цьому напрямку.
Херсонський фронт
включає околиці Херсона та Миколаєва

As far as I understood from several sources and comments on the censor.net, the remnants of the group in the Zolotoe-Gorskoe area surrendered. Reportedly around 800 (I used to write 500). I think Lisichansk will follow the same scenario: they will try to withdraw the most combat-ready units, the rest will be left for cover. I propose a lottery, who can guess the number of those taken in the Lisichansk-Severodonetsk cauldron: my opinion, 2000 prisoners?

Thanks. There are between 30 and 40 soldiers in that video. I guess that would corroborate the comment below by John that a contingent of max. 500 troops got trapped and broke up into smaller units.

I don’t think they will get the death penalty. The treatment of “ordinary” prisoners is much more humane than that of captured mercenaries and members of the Nazi battalions. I even think that this is the best way out for them – they do not even look like soldiers, but forcibly mobilized and left to die. What does not add points to the government of Ukraine.

The zolotoe pocket had closed up, why is this page suggesting otherwise? I am not saying certain Ukrainian elements did not withdraw but the Russian armed forces encircled that cauldron fully and there are still soldiers within it.
All indicates this is not true. Ukrainian claim of withdrawal is supported by RU sources, who reported the enemy entered Zolote and Hirske with minimum resistance (if any).
From what I have gathered, it was only mobile units (e.g. motorised and mechanised forces) that withdrew, the rest(light infantry and ordinary infantry numbered at around 500 or less) have been broke up into smaller units and placed into areas such as forests and etc. I gathered this through videos on telegram of small units being imprisoned by incoming Russian forces all around the encircled cauldron, little groups of Ukranian infantry one by one get… Читати далі »
Perhaps your thought is correct, but then they would not have surrendered, but fiercely resisted. I think that this is still the encirclement and the surrender of the remnants of the group. The same is planned for Lisichansk.
