He joined Azov in February 2015 and has been continuously engaged in combat operations against Russian forces since then. As an artillery officer, he played a significant role in strengthening the unit’s firepower and operational effectiveness. At the start of the full-scale invasion, he served as Chief of Staff of a howitzer artillery battalion and participated in the defense of Mariupol. After enduring Russian captivity and returning to service, he assumed responsibility for Azov’s artillery branch, overseeing its development and combat readiness. Following the unit’s expansion into a brigade, he was appointed commander of the brigade artillery group, contributing to its structural and tactical modernization. In April 2025, he became Chief of Staff of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov,” continuing to shape the brigade’s operational planning and combat coordination at the highest level. In 2026, he was appointed commander of the newly formed 8th Artillery Brigade “Harmash” of the 1st Azov Corps.
