A new artillery brigade has been established within the Ground Forces of Ukraine \u2014 the 54th Artillery Brigade. Its formation is part of the ongoing restructuring of the Defense Forces into a corps\u2013brigade hierarchy. The brigade introduced its insignia through its newly created social media channels, along with its motto: \u201cVis et Victoria\u201d<\/em> \u2014 \u201cStrength and Victory\u201d<\/em> in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 54th Artillery Brigade is the thirteenth artillery brigade within the Ground Forces. This brings the total number of artillery brigades in line with the number of army corps formations. Since each corps is intended to have one dedicated artillery brigade, this formation is expected to be the final addition to the Ground Forces\u2019 artillery units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specialized artillery brigades\u2014namely the 15th Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade<\/a>, the 19th Missile Brigade<\/a>, and the 107th Rocket Artillery Brigade<\/a>\u2014will remain structurally outside the corps system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
