It is the first formation of its kind in the Guard and is expected to provide support to corps formations on the frontline. Unlike the majority of units, it has not been given a numerical designation and exists solely under its official name. The regiment is being formed in Odesa Oblast under the military unit number 3116.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>The 7th Battalion (formerly the 75th Battalion), based in the city of Zhytomyr, has been expanded into a regiment and is now designated as the 38th Regiment.
