This makes it the first brigade in the 140 series, which are all infantry units, to undergo such a transformation. Recent open-source information confirms that the corps is based in Kryvyi Rih, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and will primarily be responsible for operations in the southern and eastern theaters. The formation falls under the command of <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/armed-forces\/operational-command-east\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"16980\">Operational Command East<\/a>. Similar to the previously disclosed <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/national-guard\/1st-azov-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"45530\">1st<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/national-guard\/2nd-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"45538\">2nd Corps<\/a> of the National Guard and the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/armed-forces\/12th-army-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"38811\">12th Army Corps<\/a>, this formation currently does not have dedicated, separate artillery or tank brigades.
