37-\u0430 \u043e\u043a\u0440\u0435\u043c\u0430 \u0431\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0430\u0434\u0430 \u043c\u043e\u0440\u0441\u044c\u043a\u043e\u0457 \u043f\u0456\u0445\u043e\u0442\u0438<\/strong> is a unit of the Ukrainian Marine Corps, subordinated to the 30th Marine Corps. The brigade was formed on the basis of one of the battalions of the 79th Air Assault Brigade. As part of its formation, the 505th Separate Marine Battalion was created and placed under its command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The formation of the brigade was revealed in February 2023, and even at that time, its marines were training in France on AMX-10RC vehicles. According to French sources, Ukrainian marines completed the training program in one month. The brigade\u2019s marine infantry component was trained in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2023, the brigade participated in the Ukrainian southern offensive in the area of Velyka Novosilka. Elements of the brigade attempted to break through enemy lines near Novodonetske but did not succeed and lost dozens of vehicles, primarily Mastiff MRAPs and AMX-10RCs. The brigade was later withdrawn from the frontline for recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In late 2023 and early 2024, the 37th Marine Brigade was committed to Krynky alongside other marine brigades. The Krynky operation did not achieve its objectives and took a heavy toll on Ukrainian marines, with hundreds of casualties.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
