A total of 13 corps are being established within the Ground Forces, two within the Air Assault Forces, one in the Marine Corps, and two in the National Guard. Some corps include inactive brigades or units that exist only on paper without actual personnel. It remains unknown what the goal is for these paper brigades. There are also rumors about two corps in the structure of Territorial Defense Forces. Hopefully, this will not happen, as TDF units should not be used as frontline formations.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Regarding the appointed commanders, the previous system of operational-tactical command groups and task forces is finally being phased out, as evidenced by the appointment of commanders such as Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Serhiy Perets, Serhei Sirchenko and Oleksandr Bakulin to lead corps. Additionally, several newly appointed corps commanders have earned recognition through their leadership at the brigade level. Among them are Ruslan Shevchuk, Roman Darmogray, Vasyl Matiyiv, Dmytro Voloshyn, Andriy Biletsky, Denys Prokopenko, and Ihor Obolensky. <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Based on the commanders named by Yuriy Butusov, we can determine which brigades will form corps.
