Russian forces continue to put pressure on the Ukrainian defenders south of Bakhmut and the previously mentioned Lysychansk. Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian troops retreated from the prepared defensive positions to Olhyne, without giving any addition information.<\/li>\n<li>The next day, Ukrainian troops reportedly repelled a Russian attack from the direction of Potomkyne towards Vysokopillya. Russian BTG attempted to regain lost positions, but met a fierce resistance and withdrew.<\/li>\n<li>If both statements by Ukrainian General Staff are true, it seems Ukrainian troops are in control of Vysokopillya. The recent reports are also supported by locals on social media, who reported shelling of Vysokopillya for a several past days, indicating there was indeed a battle and Ukrainian Army gained some ground.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Ukrainian side announced a strict embargo on all information regarding Kherson Oblast and advance of Ukrainian troops. The only allowed source for this area are the reports by Ukrainian General Staff.
