The claim was later confirmed to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pravda.com.ua\/news\/2026\/07\/18\/8044687\/\">\u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0441\u044c\u043a\u0430 \u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u0434\u0430<\/a><\/em> by several anonymous sources within the Defense Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Sternenko, brigade commanders received the order on the morning of July 18 and were instructed to publish the videos by 5:00 p.m. One military source told <em>\u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u0441\u044c\u043a\u0430 \u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u0434\u0430<\/em> that, within the Airborne Assault Forces, the directive came from the branch&#8217;s command. According to multiple military sources, commanders who refuse or openly oppose orders from Sirskyi risk disciplinary measures, removal from command, or reassignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Similar campaign reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, commanders of National Guard corps publicly expressed support for Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, who had been reported as a potential candidate to head the Ministry of Defense. In a public statement, they said Klymenko had already made a significant contribution to Ukraine&#8217;s defense effort as interior minister and possessed the experience necessary to lead the ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u041f\u0435\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0443\u043c\u043e\u0432\u0438<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 16, demonstrations were held outside the Presidential Office in Kyiv and in several other Ukrainian cities in support of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
