Over the last year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces began a comprehensive restructuring process of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Forces, including the integration of some of its brigades within the regular Ukrainian Ground Forces, and expanding the Unmanned Systems Capabilities of the brigades further to help stabilize and defend the frontline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One notable example includes the linearization of all Territorial Defense Brigades, disbanding separate battalions and forming them as linear battalions within the brigade. Moreover, several units over time have been used to supplement and bolster units within other branches of the Ukrainian Military, including the Assault Regiments, particularly the 86th Battalion<\/a>, which joined the 1-\u0439 \u0448\u0442\u0443\u0440\u043c\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0439 \u043f\u043e\u043b\u043a<\/a>.
