The changes have been gradually revealed through official unit channels, recruitment platforms, and public ceremonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the outset of the corps&#8217; formations, several units already had the distinct shapes associated with the corps, being the Bureviy and Azov Brigades. of the central symbology, becoming a stylized red viburnum rendered in a flame-like form, reflecting the unit\u2019s name. This updated insignia appeared consistently across both field and ceremonial variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the brigade\u2019s subordinate units were updated to extend this standardization to the battalion level. New insignias were introduced for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Operational Battalions, as well as the Tank Company, Unmanned Systems Battalion, and Support Battalion, all adopting the same pointed chevron design consistent with the established corps-wide style.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-advancedheading.kt-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10, .wp-block-kadence-advancedheading.kt-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10[data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10\"]{font-style:normal;}.wp-block-kadence-advancedheading.kt-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10 mark.kt-highlight, .wp-block-kadence-advancedheading.kt-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10[data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10\"] mark.kt-highlight{font-style:normal;color:#f76a0c;-webkit-box-decoration-break:clone;box-decoration-break:clone;padding-top:0px;padding-right:0px;padding-bottom:0px;padding-left:0px;}<\/style>\n<h2 class=\"kt-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10 wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading81632_4ee7fc-10\">Kara-Dag Insignia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, by March 2026, the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/national-guard\/kara-dag-brigade\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"17485\">\u041a\u0430\u0440\u0430-\u0414\u0430\u0433 \u0431\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0430\u0434\u0430<\/a> was observed to have adopted a new variant of the insignia in line with the rest of the corps. These included a silver-grey and black version identified on the Ukrainian recruitment platform on <a href=\"https:\/\/lobbyx.army\/tor\/navidnyk-operator-tanka-do-15-bryhada-operatyvnoho-pryznachennia-kara-dah\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/lobbyx.army\/tor\/navidnyk-operator-tanka-do-15-bryhada-operatyvnoho-pryznachennia-kara-dah\/\">LobbyX<\/a>, and a subdued field variant once again observed at a formal ceremony. A new formation, the 8th Artillery Brigade \u201cHarmash,\u201d has been established, likely drawing on the experience of artillery elements previously embedded within subordinate brigades, particularly the Brigade Artillery Group of the Azov Brigade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u041a\u0440\u0456\u043c \u0442\u043e\u0433\u043e, \u0432 \u0440\u0430\u043c\u043a\u0430\u0445 \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0435\u043a\u0442\u0443 <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/national-guard\/personnel-training-battalion\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"74459\">\u0411\u0430\u0442\u0430\u043b\u044c\u0439\u043e\u043d \u0432\u0438\u0448\u043a\u043e\u043b\u0456\u0432 \u043e\u0441\u043e\u0431\u043e\u0432\u043e\u0433\u043e \u0441\u043a\u043b\u0430\u0434\u0443<\/a> of the Azov Brigade has been elevated to the corps level. This development is intended to support ceremonial functions, preserve historical traditions, and strengthen recruitment efforts across all brigades within the corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar processes are underway within the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/national-guard\/2nd-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"45538\">2-\u0439 \u043a\u043e\u0440\u043f\u0443\u0441 \u0425\u0430\u0440\u0442\u0456\u044f<\/a> of the Ukrainian National Guard, which continues to advance its own structural development in parallel. In particular, it has already advanced the creation of its own dedicated Assault Regiment, Artillery Brigade, and Unmanned Systems Regiment. It is currently also collaborating with the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/armed-forces\/3-%d0%b9-%d0%b0%d1%80%d0%bc%d1%96%d0%b9%d1%81%d1%8c%d0%ba%d0%b8%d0%b9-%d0%ba%d0%be%d1%80%d0%bf%d1%83%d1%81\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"44237\">3-\u0433\u043e \u0430\u0440\u043c\u0456\u0439\u0441\u044c\u043a\u043e\u0433\u043e \u043a\u043e\u0440\u043f\u0443\u0441\u0443<\/a> to create a joint, revised training programme for its recruits, as announced on the social channels of both units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u041e\u0442\u0436\u0435 <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/national-guard\/pilum-battalion\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"80042\">Pilum Unmanned Systems Battalion<\/a>, formed around mid-to-late 2025 on the basis of the former <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/national-guard\/unmanned-systems-battalion\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"38027\">\u0411\u0430\u0442\u0430\u043b\u044c\u0439\u043e\u043d \u0431\u0435\u0437\u043f\u0456\u043b\u043e\u0442\u043d\u0438\u0445 \u0441\u0438\u0441\u0442\u0435\u043c<\/a> of the Azov Brigade, is likely to be expanded to regimental level in the near future, given ongoing reformations within the branch to expand the combat cohesion and capabilities of both of its combat corps.<br><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 1st Azov Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard has finalized the process of standardizing the insignias of the units under its jurisdiction.
