Until now, the 29th Brigade had been the final heavy mechanized formation without a publicly known corps affiliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this assignment, the 12th Army Corps remains the only corps formation without a dedicated heavy mechanized brigade. According to research by MilitaryLand, Mazurok was born in 1994 and graduated from the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy in 2015 with a degree in <em>Management of Tank Units<\/em>. By 2018, he served as deputy commander of the tank battalion of the 93rd Mechanized Brigade.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.kb-image69996_608977-0d .kb-image-has-overlay:after{opacity:0.3;}<\/style>\n<div tank battalion \u2014 was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 2nd Class for inflicting significant losses on Russian forces in Donetsk Oblast.<br>His younger brother, Nazar Mazurok, a platoon commander of the 24th Assault Battalion \u201cAidar,\u201d was killed near Bakhmut on September 4,
