MilitaryLand <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/army\/three-army-corps-officially-named-and-revealed\/\">first reported on the creation<\/a> of the 20th Army Corps back in March 2025. Recent open-source information confirms that the corps is based in Kryvyi Rih, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and will primarily be responsible for operations in the southern and eastern theaters. The formation falls under the command of <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/armed-forces\/operational-command-east\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"16980\">Operational Command East<\/a>. Similar to the previously disclosed <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/national-guard\/1st-azov-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"45530\">1st<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/national-guard\/2nd-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"45538\">2nd Corps<\/a> of the National Guard and the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/armed-forces\/12th-army-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"38811\">12th Army Corps<\/a>, this formation currently does not have dedicated, separate artillery or tank brigades. from the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/armed-forces\/10th-army-corps\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"22021\">10th Army Corps<\/a>, where it was previously stationed. It remains to be seen whether the 31st and 141st Mechanized Brigades will also be redeployed to the eastern front.
