Ukrainian Armed Forces received <strong>new tanks<\/strong> (multiple T-64BVs, T-80s, one T-72AMT), <strong>MRAPs<\/strong> (Varta), <strong>IFVs<\/strong> (BMP-1), <strong>self-propelled\u00a0artillery<\/strong> (2S1 Gvozdika), <strong>rocket artillery<\/strong> (Grad), <strong>reconnaissance vehicles<\/strong> (BRDM-2), <strong>anti-aircraft defense systems<\/strong> <strong>S-300<\/strong> and several planes, trucks, UAVs and recovery systems.<\/p>\n<p>[nggallery id=33]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Tip: If you are unsure about military equipment of Ukrainian forces, visit our <a href=\"http:\/\/militaryland.net\/ukraine\/vehicles\/\">Equipment page<\/a>, where you can list of all Ukrainian tanks, APCs, boats and more.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>BMP-1s\u00a0were\u00a0delivered from Czech Republic<\/h4>\n<p>On <strong>December 4, 2018<\/strong> a mysterious convoy crossed from Slovakia to Ukraine at Vysne Nemecke border crossing. Convoy was composed of several trucks with Ukrainian plates and was transporting at least dozen of <strong>BMP-1s<\/strong>. According to drivers of the convoy, the Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFV) were recently refurbished and are in decent condition. One of the drivers later confirmed to a reporter that they were coming from Czech Republic.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/Gyvcf7UEuis\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>If you look carefully on the images from the ceremony, only the first row was painted in Ukrainian camouflage, rest was in the color corresponding with the APCs from Czech Republic.<\/p>\n<p>[nggallery id=34]<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GirkinGirkin\/status\/1070994186365743105\">IgorGirkin<\/a>, a deal was made between Ukraine and either Czech Government or Excalibur\u00a0Army (Czech private military company) to deliver up to 200 pieces of BMP-1.\u00a0Why Ukraine has decided to keep silence about this delivery is unknown.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the first time Ukraine received equipment from Czech Republic. Back in May, Ukrainian side received a dozen 2S1 Gvozdika and BMP-1 from Excalibur Army. They were exported to Ukraine via polish company\u00a0Wtorplast.<\/p>\n<h4>T-64A makes its comeback<\/h4>\n<p>Apart from BMP-1, there was one more interesting piece of equipment, refurbished\u00a0T-64A converted into a demining vehicle. Ukraine lacked proper demining vehicles\u00a0but this equipment won&#8217;t save the day. The vehicle is not equipped\u00a0with any reactive protection and is based on chassis from\u00a0the 60s.
