Following hostilities in Donbas, his unit was deployed near Kramatorsk and was surrounded. In order to save people, as a young Lieutenant, he took out a grenade and threatened to blow himself up along with the crowd, allowing the column to withdraw. He has gone through all stages of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict and continues to fight during the full-scale invasion. He was later a Battery Commander, a Battalion Commander, and the Chief of Artillery in the 46-\u0430 \u0430\u0435\u0440\u043e\u043c\u043e\u0431\u0456\u043b\u044c\u043d\u0430 \u0431\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0430\u0434\u0430<\/a>. He was also wounded several times, but later returned to the ranks and was awarded the third degree of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
