Since 2014, he has served in the <a href=\"https:\/\/militaryland.net\/ua\/ukraine\/air-assault-forces\/80th-airassault-brigade\/\" data-type=\"unit\" data-id=\"14567\">80-\u0430 \u0434\u0435\u0441\u0430\u043d\u0442\u043d\u043e-\u0448\u0442\u0443\u0440\u043c\u043e\u0432\u0430 \u0431\u0440\u0438\u0433\u0430\u0434\u0430<\/a>, fighting in Donbas. In 2019, he graduated from a military academy. At the start of the full-scale invasion commanded an air assault company, leading the defense of a Dnieper bridge in Kherson while directing artillery and air strikes.
