Known by the callsign \u201cKaban,\u201d he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces in December 2013 after studying at the Lviv State University of Life Safety, signing his contract in January 2014. Serving in a transport aviation brigade, he witnessed the events of Maidan from service and observed Ukrainian aircraft evacuating from Crimea to his airfield, later providing rear-area logistical support during the war in eastern Ukraine. After returning to civilian life in 2017, he rejoined following the full-scale invasion in 2022, joining the Azov Special Operations Regiment \u201cKyiv\u201d<\/a> and taking part in the defense of Kyiv before redeploying towards the Zaporizhzhia axis in efforts related to Mariupol.
