He fought in fierce battles in Shyrokyne, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and along the Svitlodarsk Axis.<\/p>\n<p>At the start of the full-scale invasion, he held the position of chief of staff of the howitzer-artillery division. He was a key participant in the 86-day defense of Mariupol. After his release from captivity, he established the Artillery Group of the Azov Brigade, which distinguished itself in the Zaporizhzhia sector, in the Serebryansky Forestry, and near Toretsk. His experience commanding units at the brigade level laid the foundation for his appointment as chief of staff of the brigade and, later, as commander of the 8th Artillery Brigade \u201cGarmash.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He was awarded the Order \u201cFor Courage\u201d in full.
