Батальйон матеріально-технічного забезпечення лінійний підрозділ бригади "Азов".

The battalion traces its origins to the early formation of the Azov Battalion, where logistical elements were established to sustain combat operations. On November 11, 2014, during the expansion into the Azov Regiment, these elements were reorganized and expanded into a dedicated support component.

During the War in Donbas, the unit provided supply, transport, and maintenance support, ensuring the operational effectiveness of frontline elements.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the battalion supported Azov units during the defense of Mariupol, maintaining logistics and repair capabilities under siege conditions, including at the Azovstal complex.

Since the expansion of the unit into a brigade between January and February 2023, the logistical element of the unit was expanded to cater to the needs of the newly formed battalions and the brigade itself to sustain its future combat operations.

In May 2025, Volodymyr Duda was appointed as the commander of the battalion.

The insignia follows the brigade’s traditional pointed chevron design, bearing the brigade’s inscription at the top. The central imagery depicts the brigade’s falcon motif, historically used on its battle flag, symbolizing vigilance and strength. Beneath it are crossed elements, including a key and technical symbols, representing sustainment, supply, and maintenance functions.
