19-та ракетна бригада підрозділ Сухопутних військ Збройних сил України.
It was established in November 1997 and became part of the 1st Missile Division of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. In the Autumn of 1999, the brigade’s combat awards and battle banner were transferred to the 1st Missile Division.
On August 15, 1998, the deputy commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces for Combat Training, Lieutenant General Dyachuk, presented the brigade with its new battle flag.
In 2004, the brigade was separated from the 1st Missile Division, which was disbanded, and in August 2004, the brigade became directly subordinated to the Command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
In 2005, the brigade underwent a process of rearmament, being reformed from an operational-tactical missile brigade to a mixed brigade, with 2 battalions being armed with tactical missiles, and a singular battalion possessing operational-tactical missiles.
At the onset of hostilities in Donbas, the brigade was the only Missile Brigade within the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
It saw extensive combat throughout the War in Donbas, allegedly engaging Russian vehicles west of Kumachov during the battle of Ilovaisk in August 2014, in Donetsk Oblast. During the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, on July 28, 2023, the brigade received the Award For Courage and Bravery from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
