17th Rifle Battalion was a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The unit ceased to exist during the harsh battle for the defence of Bakhmut in 2023, and the remaining soldiers were transferred to 93rd Mechanized Brigade.

15th Rifle Battalion was a separate battalion in the structure of Ground Forces of Ukraine. The unit was disbanded in January 2023, with 117th Mechanized Brigade was formed from its personnel.
