About the ongoing restructuring of the Ukrainian army, there is an interesting article by Donald Hill: the History and Status of Ukrainian Corps-Level Command.

Patrick

Welcome to the Operational Strategic Group ‘Dnipro’. This provides a fitting transition to note that, for the first time, DeepStateMap indicates a Russian effective presence in the Dnepropetrovsk region, covering approximately 2 square kilometers.

Andrew

Boy do you love using this site as your personal propaganda front, dude. If a thing happens, you’ll be here putting a Muscovite spin on it.

Patrick

Thanks, my pleasure! I’m just here improving access to information. Glad you’re watching, Andy. Stay tuned – there’s more to come.

Tristan

No, you are not here to give information. Russian propaganda is not information. I don’t remember a single time where you gave any useful information about the Ukrainian units, which is the focus of this website. Usually, you just gloat over the capture of a destroyed village by the Russian War Criminals.

Patrick

So, according to you, the fact that Russian forces entered Dnipro region is ‘Russian propaganda.’ My monthly statistics are ‘Russia propaganda’. To you, it’s all ‘Russian propaganda’ simply because you don’t like what’s happening – not because anything I’ve written is inaccurate.

Tristan

The fact that you focus on 2 square kilometers, as if they matter; the fact that in every single message, you only talk about what is “good” for Russia (and never about what is good for Ukraine, or bad for Russia), yes, that is the basic definition of cherry picking for the sake of Russian propaganda.

Patrick

I haven’t seen a single post from you mentioning Russian successes. By your own logic, doesn’t that make you someone who selectively shares information to support Ukrainian propaganda? Regarding Dnipro, you’re fixated on the ‘2 km’ and fail to see that it symbolizes a Russian advance into a new region, with potentially far-reaching consequences.

Tristan

Read my blog, you’ll find many mentions of Russian successes, and several analyses of Ukrainian problems. So your accusation falls flat, as usual.

Patrick

No, it doesn’t. We’re discussing matters on this forum, not evaluating blog content elsewhere.

Tristan

So you’re moving the goalpost ? Too bad for you,it also fails: just above, I pointed out to an alanysis that is NOT showing Ukraine’s army in a good light.

One more thing: instead of denying that you are a propagandist, or showing examples of your critiques of the Russian army, you accuse me of being what you truly are. That’s an admission of your guilt.

Patrick

Oh boy are you excited – and you really have a selective memory. I’ve criticized the RU army for their terrible planning in 2022 and their failure to anticipate the battle of Kursk. I also didn’t hold back on Shoigu and Gerasimov, especially when Wagner was the only effective force. Now, the RU army is in a much stronger position. I’m not here to invent non existent UA successes.

Tristan

I’m not here to invent non existent UA successes.
Q.E.D.

Patrick

You tell us about UA military successes in 2025.

Tristan

Spiderweb, the attacks against Russian refineries and the railroad system, the huge number of Russian casualties, etc. The fact that they still resist despite Trump’s treachery is also Impressive.

Patrick

What you’re pointing to had zero impact on the battlefield. What truly matters is that Ukraine is suffering heavy losses too, facing a visible manpower shortage, experiencing rising desertions, struggling with recruitment, and losing territory at a much faster pace than in 2024.

Tristan

They are successful operation anyways. You are just moving the goal post again. True, the Ukrainians have to solve several issues, but so do the Russians (massive desertions, economic issues, the end of their soviet stockpiles, etc). And, as a Russian propagandist, you simply ignore the Russian problems and deny the existence of Ukrainians successes. Q.E.D.

Patrick

Of course the Russians have problems! But they pale in comparison to Ukraine’s problems, especially right now. Seriously, you may be a blogger, but at times it feels like I’m debating with a six-year-old.

Tristan

Actually, Russian problems are much worse than the Ukrainians ones. In fact, their only hope of victory is that Traitor Trump gives them what they cannot achieve on the battlefield. You would know that if only you had spent less time speading Russian propaganda and insulting everyone.

Patrick

Hundreds of km2 gained every month – this is just to address your amnesia. You are a classic example of someone in denial. BTW, Trump’s plan is the only chance Ukraine has to keep roughly 80% of its territory. So Trump may actually end up saving Ukraine from much greater disaster. What a poor analyst you are.

Tristan

Hundreds of km2 gained every month, at a cost of ~30k casualties per month, is a failed offensive. Trump offers nothing to Ukraine, he just backstabs them.

Patrick

You’re making this too easy. I feel sorry for you and will therefore stop the massacre.

Tristan

You gave me the win 5 messages earlier, when you confessed being a russian propagandist.

Everything after that confirms it. You say exactly what all Russian propagandists say “Rusia will win, Ukraine is doomed, bla blah blah.” It’s just a PsyOp to force Ukraine to surrender.

Patrick

Please quote my “confession” and don’t forget your pills.

Tristan

Still here ? You can’t even stick to your own words 🙂

So Russian !

Patrick

Even an idiot would understand you’re avoiding to quote me because there is nothing I said that resembles a confession.

Tristan

A confession ? Every accusation made by a Russian propagandist is a confession. 🙂

And I already quoted you:

I’m not here to invent non existent UA successes.

Since this proved my point a long time ago, I won’t waste my time anymore on this discussion.

And unlike you, I will stick to my words.

Patrick

No Tristan. As schoolchildren know, a confession is an admission and no emoji will change that. As for your claim about my supposed “confession,” anyone reading my words in good faith will see a simple statement: I stick to facts and don’t report things that haven’t happened – namely, Ukrainian battlefield victories in 2025. Let your misrepresentation rest on your conscience.
