Bakhmut has fallen.
Another week, another Bakhmut has fallen. Its been like 30 or so weeks that means 30 Bakhmuts have fell. Is this it ? Is this the last Bakhmut to ever fall ? Or is there more Bakhmuts left in store ? Find out next week.
The meme is “bakhmut will fall next week” but this time bakhmut truly fell, only a couple buildings in the eastern outskirts have no Russians in them (and i mean literally a couple, whats left of them at least)
Bakhmut is under full Russian control as of now. If it will change who knows. But for now bakhmut has fallen and the siege which took many Ukrainian and Russian lives has ended, not for long tho I am sure as Ukraines counteroffensive has started and the same siege will take place but with the roles switched and more lives lost to the meat grinder of Artemovsk.

You do know that ‘Artemovsk’ is a Soviet name? It is kinda bizzare that you (and they) so stubbornly use not the traditional pre-Soviet, but that one.
The city was vacated, mostly. There is still some resistance in the Southern part. I dougt that Ukr will attempt to retake the city, especially head on. It looks more like ‘line straightening’ for now.
Claims who? The leader of Wagners? The same one who claimed to withdraw it’s a few days ago? Anything he says is just PR, and nothing trustworthy.

According to the testimony of the butcher Prigozhin, Wagner will withdraw the troops from Bakhmut on May 25 for a “rest”, he readily mentioned two names that helped him in the occupation of Bakhmut, General Suravikin and General Mezintsev. There was criticism of Shoigu and Gerasimov and he said that one day they will be responsible for their actions.

The farce of the story is that Prigoshin put the Bachmuth conquest, as his own personal struggle above everything, only to raise the flag in this city now. But then 5 days later to withdraw the troops there, so that the Ukrainians can recapture the city.
Prigoshin is not waging war against Ukraine, but against his inferior ego.
Is it confirmed that he conquered Bakhmut ? Or is he just saying it so he could justify Wagner retreat. Retreating without fully occupying Bakhmut would look bad for Russia.
I think that a few more buildings are still under the control of Ukraine in the private sector, but this is a matter of 1-2 days, so formally Bakhmut is under the orcs
Some kind of fire under Velyki kopani what is going on in that forest? It is clear that there are Oleshkivski sands, did the Russians drive manpower and equipment there?

I am not aware of such video. I think I saw reports that the monument was destroyed earlier this year
for “in whole” they still are short of a few streets and buildings. But generally – the city had been flattened and taken.
