Well Ukraine would cross where the river is less wide making any advance predictable and even then it would take hours for a pontoon bridge to be operational on a river that wide.
A river is a pretty big obstacle, especially one the size of the Dniepr.

Ruzzians are taught thar they won ww2 all by themselves. They do not know about the lend lease from UK and USA or the artic convoys. to supply equipment and food to them.
Counter offensive has begin and intend to circle around Bakhmut to trap all these offensive unit stuck in their slowly progression in and surrounding the city ?
