A new police rifle battalion is being formed in Volyn

In Volyn, a newly created rifle battalion of the police is preparing to perform combat tasks on the front line.

Now the combat unit, which includes police officers from various services, is being trained at the training ground. As part of basic military training, military police officers gain knowledge in tactical, fire, Pre-Medical, physical, and engineering training and improve their professional experience.

According to the battalion commander, Police Lieutenant Colonel Andrey Litvin, the police are studying the tactical principles of the unit’s work in circular defense, the movement of personnel in combat formations on various types of terrain, conducting combat operations in urban development, and so on. In addition, they study the rules and procedures for performing tasks related to neutralizing sabotage groups, conducting aerial reconnaissance, and so on.

The battalion consisted of employees from various police units: district police officers, operatives, investigators, interrogators, community officers, and the like. All of them are united by a single goal – to protect their native land.
