Just wanted to share this amazing Reuters article about trenches.
https://www.reuters.com/graphics/UKRAINE-CRISIS/COUNTEROFFENSIVE/mopakddwbpa/index.html
interesting how the warfare evolves.
WW1 –> artillery and trenches
== enter mechanized infantry, tanks, aviation ==
WW2 –> blitzkrieg tactics
== drones, satellites, AT and AA weapons, precision missiles, smart bombs ==
Ukraine’2023 –> Giant robots and laser guns, right? Nope, artillery and trenches
so today: zolotarivka, klischivka, novobakmutivka, pavlivka , novomaiorske and yehorivka.
its start?
Maybe, maybe not.
Please keep in mind that those indications are always imprecise, it doesn’t mean Ukrainians liberated those settlements – just that they are near them.
ISW has this on 23.04. written. That many assumptions and analyzes are misinterpreted by the media and wrong conclusions are drawn from them. What the Ukrainians actually always want to avoid.
Criticizing accepted predictions as facts, thereby misrepresenting ISW.
I think that this will also put Ukrainian missions in a more positive light than they actually are.
I have to give a big shout out to Jerome here, for his very cool pictures at the beginning of his summaries…. very creative
Thanks, happy to hear that somebody likes them!
