Oryx researchers state, that their numbers will highly underestimate real numbers. IISS estimated tank losses at 2000-2300 at the beginning of february. So the truth will probably lie somewhere between MoD and Oryx.
Oryx shows that MoD of Ukraine numbers are solid.
Concerning personnel losses, UK and US officials stated russian casualties (KIA, WIA, MIA) at about 200k.

Some interesting developments:
- personnel per tank increased from 17 in April to 119 in February
- tank per artillery sank from 2,5 to 1 in April to 1 to 1 since October
- personnel lost increases allmost every month since June
IISS estimates:
IISS estimated 2000 (59% Ukr MoD numbers) to 2300 (68%) Russian tanks lost and currently 1800 Russian tanks to be operational and about 5000 in storage.
IISS estimated 3300 Russian tanks to be operational at the start of the full scale invasion. That means that Russia was able to produce and pull out of stock about 650 Tanks, less than a third of those lost.
There is also the website of an islandic data scientist who compiled all the data from oryx and compared Ukrainian MoD to Oryx's numbers.
@tristan That sounds very interesting. Do you have a name, or better link?
@max-beckhaus it's "lookerstudio" made by Ragnar Bjartur Gudmundsson. Lots of data there.
